Frequently Asked Questions

How Does Vaping Work?

Think of vaping as an electric alternative to burning tobacco. These battery-operated devices have a tiny, low-power heating element that atomizes (turns liquid into gas) e-juice to create a water-based, inhalable mist called "vapor". The style and shape of  personal vaporizers varies significantly depending on your personal preferences. Some simply look like cigarettes while others look like boxes and tubes. To find out which one is best for you, just give us a call or stop into the shop and we will be glad to answer your questions.

What’s In the Juice?

At Vapor-Riffic, we will never compromise on quality because we’re committed to ensuring the most delicious experience. Not only are our e-juice ingredients 100% American made, they are all FDA-approved for human consumption. Our vaping juices consist of four main ingredients:

  • Vegetable Glycerin (VG):

This ingredient can make up from 50% to 95% of  e-juice base which commonly contains a percentage of PG as well. VG is a plant-based component that is derived from palm or coconut oil and is found in baked goods, medications, shampoos, and many other everyday consumer products. VG is commonly associated with vapor production.

  • Propylene Glycol (PG):

This component is commonly used in hospital air purification systems, but in e-juice, it carries the flavorings we know and love. Some e-juices are made with maximum VG (with minimal PG) for those who experience allergic reactions to PG.

  • Natural Flavor:

All the e-juices that Vapor-Riffic sells, use only food-grade flavorings that are natural, safe, and incredibly tasty. These flavors make up 10% to 20% of your e-juice’s overall mix.

  • Nicotine:

Vapor-Riffic e-juice manufacturers have chosen to use pharmaceutical-grade, pure nicotine. Choose from a concentrations ranging from 00% (0mg) to 2.4% (24mg) depending on your desired strength.

Is vaping safe?

You already know that e-juices contain four main ingredients: propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), flavoring, and nicotine. Both PG and VG have been declared safe for human consumption. They are found on ingredient lists for a whole manner of food products we generally consume every day. That said, it’s important to note that some individuals are allergic to PG. Inhaling it can lead to throat tingling or irritation within the body. If this is your experience, we encourage you to look for e-liquids made with Max VG.

Vaping flavorings are rather complex, though in our products, they consist of natural extracts balanced to perfection to attain the desired taste. These are also considered safe for your consumption.

Our e-juices contain a range of nicotine concentrations from XX% to XX% allowing you to personalize your vaping experience. Numerous studies have shown that vaping, because it contains far less nicotine than conventional tobacco cigarettes, is significantly safer for you by comparison. However, no product containing nicotine can be considered entirely safe, and so we recommend you select your concentration according to your own health goals.

Are E-Juices Free from Harmful Ingredients?

Many within the scientific community are encouraging smokers to make the switch from tobacco cigarettes to vaping. Two main reasons are the absence of Tar & Ash in electronic cigarettes.

So what are the advantages to choosing e-juice? Well, those who study harm reduction have found that when you switch from tobacco cigarettes to e-juice, you can reduce your health risks to less than 1% of what they were before.

There are two additional differences between them. Unlike tobacco cigarettes, vaping produces trace to no evidence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbonyls, carbon monoxide, toxic gases, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or tobacco-specific nitrosamines (TSNAs). What’s more, studies have shown that vaping can increase the chances of someone being able to quit smoking, which would deliver strong long-term health benefits.

Are there Restrictions on Where I Can Vape?

Yes, there are. While vaping in public places is legal in most of America, that is not the case everywhere. Many cities and counties have enacted regulations restricting vaping in public, and so you need to check your local ordinances to find out what is legal in your area.
